“Swimming”

Isaiah loved pretending to swim by crawling around in the shallow water at GAP in Yuba City. He didn’t like the water that poured down on his head very much, but if I went with him he would brave it to go down the slide. That he did like. And he loved jumping in off the sides.

He would jump in where it was shallow enough for him to stand up, and then stay underwater for a little while trying to swim. He also kept running away from me trying to jump in without me where it was deeper. And that is where he learned he knows how to “dive” in head first. Crazy fearless little tike. We had lots of fun there, even if it was a little stressful trying to keep him from drowning himself.
