Snow

It actually snowed a little bit here in Ridgecrest a week before Christmas. We tried to set up the tripod and take a family picture in the snow, but by the time we got it up and everyone cooperating… no more snow. You can see the white blotches in this picture.

We drove 10 minutes up into the mountains and it was snowing like crazy. The kids were all ready for bed, and it was dark and cold, so we only got out of the car for a minutes, but it was fun to sit there and watch it in the headlights.

All road into Ridgecrest were closed that night. We really are isolated out here. Guess I better have some good emergency preparation ready!
