Waiting for the Sagebrush Shortline Railroad

Some awesome people in Ridgecrest getting really into the unselfish Christmas spirit and bring their 1/8 model trains and set them up on this decorated musical Christmas track that’s a mile long and give people free rides for three days. My sweet visiting teaching partner got tickets for us. (They have had to start being careful about crowds because of some neer-do-wells that have come in the past and cause problems.)

My boys loved it! They cried when we left, and we even got tickets from Omar’s friend Joe and went back to the railroad the second night. They were so excited they didn’t even complain about standing in the freezing cold lines.
