Okay, so I was making home made donuts...ummm, anyway, and I was heating up the oil...can you see where this is going? The 1st donut I put into the HOT oil I also dipped my finger in it. You know how the oil starts to bubble around the food...that was my finger! I've never had such pain. I had to keep it in ice water because I couldn't get the ice pack under my nail. I felt like SUCH a retard! (It was totally an avoidable thing) Any time I would take it out of the ice water it would start hurting SO bad...so I left it there for hours! My mom gave me some special burn cream from my child hood when I was badly burned with a curling iron.(across my face) It worked...In the morning I had no redness or blistering! I am glad your burn is okay...I could totally relate to the feelings you expressed in your posting. Mortality...

Michelle--I love you too! You always make me feel so good about myself. You have a gift in being able to openly love and compliment people. That's not easy for everyone. And I'm sure glad you do! You always make my day!

Amanda--I'm glad you didn't have to deal with one more ailment. What happened?

I love opportunities like that...It seems as though things just fall into place. I had a burn last Sunday and it was BAD...I put it into cold water for 4 hours and then put burn cream on it...the next morning, NOTHING! It was amazing, I think Heavenly Father knew I couldn't handle one more ailment this week. Thanks for your uplifting thoughts on life.
