Funnest Day Ever

My brother Billy and his wife Tanya were here to visit before they move to Idaho and then Indiana where he will go to grad school. It was also Chris’ graduation party week, a busy and fun time. It was great to see them!

The Tuesday that Billy and Tanya here was Helaman’s funnest day ever. First they took him and Greta and Chris to the Burgie and then to the park to enjoy the food and play. Then they bought him candy and Safeway, and brought him home to swim. When swimming was over, Grandma made him a peanut butter sandwich and he ate it in the car while driving to Scandia in Sacramento to go out to dinner then play miniature golf with everyone. Then when the game was over he played in the arcade with everyone as they gathered tickets for him (spoiled boy) and then he got to pick several prizes. Then when he got home (at close to midnight) daddy even still read him books at bed time. Talk about a good day!

In the picture, Helaman was playing “motorboat” with Uncle Bill in the pool. Billy got a little too fast, and dumped Helaman out, but that turned out great. After he popped up (thanks to his floaties) he discovered he really could swim on his own! He was very brave and swam all over the pool after that. (06.03.2008)
